Mad Men on Acid

If there was any question about AMC?s hit original series, ?Mad Men?, losing steam after its 500-day hiatus, forget about it! The last two episodes have been awesome. Heck, the whole 5th season has been terrific so far! After last week?s fistfight between Lane and Pete, where Lane kicked Pete?s butt, I didn?t think the series could get any better. This week?s episode, titled ?Far Away Places?, could have been called ?Mad Men on Acid?, as Roger Sterling and his trophy wife attend an LSD party. Or ?No Mojo at HoJo?s? as Don Draper and his trophy wife visit a Howard Johnson?s and have a tiff. Personally, I thought they should have titled the episode, ?The Revenge of Peggy?s Fella?, as Abe curses Peggy, wishing her a lousy day after she faked sex with him…, again! So the story begins with Peggy and Abe having a tiff and him cursing her to have a bad day. The very day she has her big presentation to Heinz for a new ad campaign to promote their pork and beans.
