Mr Makan said, though sacked CWG Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi has been allowed by a Delhi Court to go to London, he should voluntarily desist from going to the Olympics.
India will send the largest ever contingent of 81 players to London Olympics commencing 27th of this month. This was disclosed by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Ajay Maken in Mumbai yesterday.
The Minister said it will be unfair for him to predict country?s medal haul in the Olympics but admitted that India still lacks a little bit in preparations for the Olympics. He said there are three main difficulties physical fitness, lack of infrastructure and lack of scientific staff and proper coaching in preparing the sportspersons for the Olympics.

Kalmadi and 10 others have been charge-sheeted by CBI under various provisions of IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act for illegally awarding contract for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
