Despite reports of tornadoes in Solsberry, the National Weather Service is saying that damage in Greene County was a result of straight-line winds. Earl Breon, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said at 2:30 Wednesday that ?upon further review? it appears that no tornadoes touched down in Bloomington or surrounding areas. ?There were reports of light poles being knocked over and damage to homes, but everything we are seeing points to straight-line winds,? Breon said.
